How to Set Up and Manage Tips at Checkout

What This Is

This setting lets your customers add a tip during checkout. You control the tip percentages they can choose from and the message they see.

Where to Find It

Go to Website → Checkout Settings → Tips.

How to Set It Up

1. Go to Website → Checkout Settings → Tips

2. Set the Accept Tips dropdown to On (or Yes) to enable tipping at checkout

3. Customize the Tips Message on Checkout — this is the short message customers will see above the tip options

4. Click Add Tip Amount to add a tip percentage option (you can add several)

5. Use the edit and delete icons next to each tip row to change or remove existing amounts

6. Click Submit Tips to save your changes

What Customers See

Once tips are turned on, customers will see your tip percentage options and your custom message during checkout, and they can choose to add a tip before completing their order.
