How to Set Up Suggested Add-Ons

What This Is

Suggested add-ons are items that are recommended to customers when they book a specific product. This is one of the easiest ways to increase average order value.


Example

When a customer books a bounce house, suggest:

•       Generator rental

•       Tables

•       Chairs


Steps

1.    Open the product in Rentals → Rental Items → Add Product/Edit Product

2.    Scroll to the Suggested Items or Add-Ons section

3.    Select the add-ons you want to attach to this product

4.    Save/Update Product


When a customer adds that product to their cart, the suggested add-ons will appear during checkout.


Tip: It takes about 1 hour to set up suggested add-ons across all your products, but it is worth it. Businesses that set this up properly see a meaningful increase in average order value.
