How to Preview Your Site as a Customer
What This Is
A step-by-step guide for using the My Website button to check how your site looks and works from a customer's perspective.
Steps
1. From your dashboard, click My Website in the top right corner

2. Your live website will open in a new tab
3. Browse your products — click into a few items and read the descriptions

4. Add an item to the cart

5. Go through the checkout flow all the way to the payment step


6. Note anything that looks off — pricing, descriptions, images, or anything that would confuse a customer
7. Close the tab and return to your dashboard to make any corrections
Common Issues
• Site shows sample/demo data: This is expected before setup is complete. Sample data is there to help the site look filled out while you are still setting things up.
• Checkout may not work yet if setup is incomplete: For example, if delivery settings or checkout settings have not been completed, customers may not be able to fully check out yet. See the Checkout Settings category in the BRS Knowledge Base.
• Want to change the website design?
Go to Website → Appearance to select a different template or update how your site looks.
• Want to change website text, images, or content?
Go to Website → Website Content to update the content shown on your site.
Tip: Do this test again after every major change to make sure nothing broke.
