How to Build an Email Campaign from Scratch

What This Is
BRS does not support creating custom automated email templates with custom triggers. However, Premium users can create and send one-time email campaigns using Compose New Email.

Steps

1. Go to Emails & Texts → Compose New Email → Send New Email

2. In the Template section, Click Content then drag the HTML icon into the Template section to build your email from scratch

3. Use an AI tool, recommended: Claude, to generate your email design.

Example prompt:

Create a clean, mobile-friendly HTML email campaign for my rental business that is designed to convert more customers into bookings. My business rents bounce houses, water slides, tents, tables, chairs, and party equipment. Use a fun but professional design that works well on mobile. Include a header with my logo using the merge code {{agency_logo}}   and business name using {{agency_name}}  . Create a strong headline, short intro paragraph, 2–3 featured product sections, short descriptions, and “Book Now” buttons. Leave clear placeholders where I can insert product images and links inside BRS. Keep the layout simple, responsive, and compatible with most email clients. Do not use image URLs. I will add images, links, and merge tags inside BRS.

4. Copy the HTML from Claude and paste it into BRS.

5. Add your images, links, and merge tags inside BRS:

Use Merge Tags for fields like {{agency_logo}}  , {{agency_name}}  , customer details, and order detail

Insert product images directly in the editor
Add the correct links to your buttons

6. Test before sending:

Send the email to yourself first
Open it in your inbox
Check the formatting, images, links, and mobile view

7. Make edits as needed, then send the campaign.

Important Notes

  • This is for manual email campaigns only, not custom automated triggers.
  • Premium users can create and send campaigns using Compose New Email.
  • Keep the design simple so it displays properly on mobile and in most inboxes.

Reusing Your Campaign

After sending your first campaign, duplicate it and make edits for future campaigns so you do not need to start from scratch each time.
