How to Block Dates with Vacation Mode

What This Is

Vacation Mode lets you block specific dates so customers cannot book online. Use this for holidays, personal days off, or days when you are at capacity.

Steps

1.    Go to Rentals → Rental Settings → Vacation Mode

2.    Click to add a blocked date or date range

3.    Enter the date(s) you want to block

4.    Save your settings

Customers will not be able to select blocked dates when booking online.

Manual Override

Even if a date is blocked online, you can still create a manual order for a customer through Orders → Manual Order. The vacation block only applies to the public-facing website. For step-by-step instructions, see: How to Create a Manual Order

Known Limitation

Currently, recurring blocks (like every Sunday) must be added individually. An improvement to allow recurring date blocking is planned for a future update.
