Confirmation Emails Going to Customer Spam

What This Is
Sometimes confirmation emails may land in a customer’s spam or junk folder instead of their inbox. This is usually related to email setup and sender reputation.

Quick Fix (For Current Orders)
  • Ask the customer to check their spam/junk folder
  • Have them mark the email as “Not Spam”
  • Ask them to add your email address to their contacts or safe sender list

Long-Term Fix (Recommended)
Setting up a domain-based business email (e.g. info@yourcompany.com) significantly improves email deliverability compared to using free email providers like Gmail.

Important Notes
  • Emails sent from Gmail or other free email addresses are more likely to go to spam
  • Consistent use of a domain-based email improves deliverability over time
