How Dynamic Pricing Works

What This Is

Dynamic pricing lets you automatically adjust prices based on specific conditions — like charging more on holidays or adding a fee for late pickup times. This works alongside your base pricing setup (see: How Time Increments Work (Day-Based Pricing) or How Pricing Options Work)

Steps

1.    Go to Rentals → Rental Settings → Dynamic Pricing

2.    Click to create a new rule

3.    Set the condition: a specific date, date range, or time of day

4.    Set the adjustment: a percentage increase or flat fee

5.    Save the rule

Rules apply automatically to any order that matches the conditions.

Common Use Cases

•       Holiday surcharge: add 10% on July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day

•       Late pickup fee: add $25 if pickup time is after 6:00 PM

•       Peak weekend pricing: charge more on Saturdays vs weekdays
