How the Overnight Feature Works

What This Is

The overnight feature allows customers to book a rental that spans overnight — delivered one day, picked up the next morning. It only applies if you are using time increment pricing (see: How Time Increments Work (Day-Based Pricing))

Requirements

• Pricing must be set up using Time Increments (not Pricing Options)

• Does not apply to hourly bookings

If your pricing is not set up using time increments, this feature will not work (see: How Pricing Options Work)

How to Set Up an Overnight Add-On

1.    Open the Rentals → Rental Items → Add Product/Edit Product

2.    Scroll to Pricing → Overnight Hold Add-On

3.    Add an 'Overnight' add-on with its price

Overnight fees are suggested ONLY when someone tries to add that item to cart for the same calendar date.
